Dr. Jeff Pennington

Dr. Pennington’s goal is help his patients keep their teeth and gums healthy for life.

While attending high school, Dr. Pennington worked at Radenco Dental Lab in Millen, Georgia. He continued to work at dental labs while pursuing his Bachelor of Science degree at Georgia Southern University, which reinforced his appreciation of the skilled craftsmanship that is required to create lifelike dental restorations.

Dr. Pennington became a dental professional because he understands how truly important oral health is and how much it influences overall health and well being. His purpose is to help others keep their teeth and gums healthy throughout their lifetimes.

Advanced clinical skills

Caring for patients who need extensive dental work, such as full-mouth restorations, requires a great deal of experience and training. Dr. Pennington possesses the extensive multidisciplinary skill sets to handle the most complex of cases, and he always does so with kindness and compassion.

Respected dentist

Dr. Pennington co-authored an article with Dr. Parker in the prestigious dental publication, Compendium of Continuing Education in Dentistry, on how to improve the quality of life with dental implants.


Dr. Pennington earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine in 1996 from the Georgia Health Sciences University School of Dentistry, formerly known as Medical College of Georgia. He immediately began his General Dentistry Residency at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois.

While serving his country at Shaw Air Force Base in South Carolina and Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska, he received advanced training in sedation and complex dental procedures. Dr. Pennington subsequently began an association with the Nebraska Institute of Cosmetic Dentistry in Omaha, focusing on state-of-the-art cosmetic procedures.

Dr. Pennington joined his cousin, Dr. Sid Parker, at his practice in St. Mary’s Georgia in 2003, and they opened their additional practice in Jacksonville Beach, Florida in 2004.

Dr. Pennington continues to hone his skills by advancing his education at some of the most prestigious institutions worldwide, including the following.

The Dawson Academy for Advanced Dental Education focuses on complete care with predictable results.

The KOIS Center is considered to be the best teaching facilities in the world that provides advanced educational courses on dental implants and restorative dentistry.

The Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies is dedicated to advancing the dental profession through the integration of comprehensive diagnosis, leading-edge techniques and state-of-the-art technology.

The Misch International Implant Institute is a world-renowned facility that provides its students with the most progressive and well-documented information. Using a hands-on approach, the institute’s goal is elevate the standard of care in implant dentistry.


Dr. Pennington maintains active membership in the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association and the Camden Dental Society.

Giving back

Dr. Pennington gives back to the community, both locally and globally, and volunteers his services on dental missions to Honduras and Jamaica. The practice of Parker & Pennington Dentistry sponsors charities behind the scenes as well, including the Hubbard House, K9’s for Warriors and the Pink Ribbon Golf Classic to benefit breast cancer research.
