Jeff Pennington, DMD

While attending high school, Dr. Pennington worked at Radenco Dental Lab in Millen, Georgia. He continued to work at dental labs while pursuing his Bachelor of Science at Georgia Southern University, which reinforced his appreciation of the skilled craftsmanship that is required to create lifelike dental restorations.

Dr. Pennington became a dental professional because he understands how truly important oral health is and how much it influences overall health and well-being. His purpose is to help others keep their teeth and gums healthy throughout their lifetimes.

Education

Dr. Pennington earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine in 1996 from the Georgia Health Sciences University School of Dentistry, formerly known as Medical College of Georgia. He immediately began his General Dentistry Residency at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois.

While serving his country at Shaw Air Force Base in South Carolina and Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska, he received advanced training in sedation and complex dental procedures. Dr. Pennington subsequently began an association with the Nebraska Institute of Cosmetic Dentistry in Omaha, focusing on state-of-the-art cosmetic procedures.

Dr. Pennington joined his cousin, Dr. Sid Parker, at his practice in St. Mary’s Georgia in 2003, and they opened their additional practice in Jacksonville Beach, Florida in 2004.

Respected Dentist

Dr. Pennington co-authored an article with Dr. Parker in the prestigious dental publication, Compendium of Continuing Education in Dentistry, on how to improve the quality of life with dental implants.

Caring for patients who need extensive dental work, such as full-mouth restorations, requires a great deal of experience and training. Dr. Pennington possesses the extensive multidisciplinary skill sets to handle the most complex of cases, and he always does so with kindness and compassion.

Giving Back

Dr. Pennington gives back to the community, both locally and globally, and volunteers his services on dental missions to Honduras and Jamaica. Parker & Pennington Dentistry sponsors charities behind the scenes as well, including the Hubbard House, K9’s for Warriors, and the Pink Ribbon Golf Classic to benefit breast cancer research.
